The AMVCA 2020 ceremony was held on March 14 and actors showed up fully dressed up against coronavirus. Filmmakers have travelled from countries around Africa to attend which is why the chances seemed high.
It can be considered as a precaution towards the concerns that people have over COVID-19. AMVCA was also available only by invitation and televised which makes the lowers the risks a lot.
