AFROPUNK, the music festival franchise with 5 different divisions in 5 cities – London, Joburg, Paris, Brooklyn, and Atlanta – has been buzzing. The festival focuses on Africa and draws inspiration from the culture and heritage of Africa. It combines top African talents in various genres of music and related fields to offer exciting moments at each festival.
For the 2019 Paris installment, the stars list includes Nigerian singers Tiwa Savage and Burna Boy. They will both perform on July 13 along with a number of Caribbean singers. Solange Knowles was also recently added to the list as well as to the list of stars for the Johannesburg Afropunk 2019.
The Afropunk festival is an avenue to celebrate Africa and a movement that is promoting African music, life, and culture. The 2019 Afropunk Paris holds at La Seine Musicale, from 13-14 July. Tickets are available in varieties, and accommodation options are open.
