BET Award 2020 took place virtually and artists like Burna Boy had to connect to make his acceptance speech. Most of them were happy with the occasion even though they had attended the award night from their homes. Others did admit to missing the conventional award night.

In acceptance, Burna Boy reminisces black royalty in his speech for the night. He said: “Now is the time to overturn and go back to the royalty that we were, because, in order for black lives to matter, Africa must matter”. It is the singer second BET Award.
