Before establishing those ideas that Nollywood movies aren’t worth the time and money, it is important to first see the ones on Netflix. They are the closest ones for people who don’t have access to films sold locally. Good entertainment has no definitive meaning, it is often opinionated as EbonyLife films on Netflix are great in our opinion.
As far as film production goes in Nigeria, Netflix Naija is the new working formula. Netflix is having a film affair and teaming up with only a few production companies in Nigeria and there’s a reason for that.
These companies managed to get recognition and international collaborations. They are ahead when it comes to filmmaking processes in Nigerian which is why Netflix found a team in them.
