Ije
In the movie “Ije”, Genevieve Nnaji plays Chioma – the smart adviser and safety net of her sister Anya. The story unfolds as Anya suddenly finds herself entangled in a murder case. Chioma is the only one she can call from the US.
Chioma embarks on a journey to the US and works with an inexperienced lawyer to help her sister. Chioma’s smartness pays off as the story unfolds. Ije has the most beautiful and unexpected ending as Anya’s secret turns out to be her last resort.
Sharon Stone
Genevive plays an unsympathetic role in the movie “Sharon Stone”. She is the badass girlfriend of 3 men who all propose to marry her, and she plays all three. Genevive does a good job portraying the cruelty of her character, lying her way out of trouble all the time. Things go sour in the end, however, after the 3 men meet each other.
After trying to better herself by going to church, she finds out that she can’t keep up with the hypocrisy in the church, and continues on her path. But that is not an excuse not to pay the price of her filthiness.
Love My Way

Kayla responds by running away and goes missing for days. The arrogant Kayla will not take any calls or return them. Things happen in her absence and she also ends up in the hospital.
After returning from the hospital she is an entirely different person from the arrogant girlfriend she used to be. She is literally a different person. Playing a double character like this is highlighting Genevieve Nnaji’s flexibility as an actress.
