Directorial debut in Nollywood is budding and new directors are multiplying in figure. Uche Jombo has recently joined the band of directors with her directorial debut “Heaven on my Mind”. It is due to be released in the cinemas on December 7th 2018.
Uche Jombo has been associated a lot with Nollywood directors Desmond Elliot and Emem Isong in the past. Together the three of them made several movies. However, for her directorial debut she has teamed up with Ini Edo instead. The two of them began the pre-production of the movie in 2017, and filming finished March 2018. It will be released under their film companies, Uche Jombo Studios and Minini Empire Production. We are keen to see what this movie is about, though the poster that have been released clearly speaks marriage. The trailer is available on the Uche Jumbo Studios YouTube Channel. It features a combination of talented actors including: Uche Jombo, Ini Edo, Mercy Aigbe, Ray Emordi, Andrea Chika Chukwu, Femi Adebayo, Adunni Ade, Eric Ogbonna and Yvonne Nwosu. We expect to see outstanding performances by this cast. Hopefully they will all be inspired by Uche Jombo’s favourite quote:
There are no small roles only small actors.
