The Movie Merry Men
The movie, which also has the alternative name “The Real Yoruba Demons”, is all flash and glitter in the display. “Mery Men” was produced by AY Makun and directed by Toka McBaror. AY Makun also features as one of the people’s heroes. The other men who play heroes along with him are Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, and Falz. They are stealing from the upper-class to render help to the locals and also having their way with the most beautiful girls in the city. Several politicians are falling for their smooth tongues and offering them contracts. They are the outlaws and they are rogues who redistribute what they steal to the poor masses.
Though the plot, narratives, and dialogues were vague and scanty, the movie managed to make it as the highest-grossing Nigerian movie of 2018. It was also released in the UK.
The Soundtrack of Merry Men
The visuals and images are just one element of a movie. The soundtrack is another important piece of the puzzle. This part is often ignored by many. The soundtrack used here is among the best ones that were made for any movie in 2018. It wins the vote every time Nollywood fans gather.
The beautiful soundtrack is also titled “Merry Men” and is recorded by Sexy Steel. It is a dance-along kind of soundtrack that immerses you even more than the visual parts of the movie.
