10 Nollywood Movies, Others You Can Watch In The Cinema Soon

The harsh reality which Nollywood faced due to COVID-19 lockdown could be at its end. Film releases were mostly affected when the cinema closed down in March of 2020. Aside from iROKOTV who launched new films during the pandemic, most Nollywood movies have waited for the cinema to reopen.

With the new order from the government, commercial activities like the cinemas will reopen on September 11 according to the Cinema Exhibitors Association on Nigeria, CEAN.

It might still be a while before the world returns to normal as there are a few concerns which could see many people stay away from the cinemas now. COVID-19 cases have become fewer the last weeks in Nigeria and the CEAN listed some strict safety guidelines which its workers and moviegoers must observe to reduce the risk of new cases.

As long as these safety measures are followed, the chances of exposure at the cinemas are small. It is important to avoid bringing the virus home to family members and loved ones.
