‘Sylvia’ is a titular character of a fantasy girl who has lived with a man, Richard Okezie, from his childhood. She becomes his companion and helper both at day and at night in his sleep. ‘Sylvia’ was released in September 2018 and it is now available on Netflix Naija and in other regions.

‘Sylvia’ is one precise mystery narrative as is in many Nigerian movies, and though with some missing details, ‘Sylvia’ still drew a crowd.

Richard goes to sleep in this world and wakes up in another as the tagline explains: “when you are asleep in this world, you are awake in another”. He infuriates Sylvia and everything went sour when he refuses her to be his lover and tells her that things have changed. The cast of ‘Sylvia’ includes Chris Attoh, Zainab Balogun, Ini Dima Okojie.

‘Sylvia’ was introduced on Netflix worldwide in July.
