Nigerian Celebrities: October Birthdays

Many Nigerian celebrities were born in the month of October. Let’s show them some love as they tick off one year on their calendar.

  • Stephanie Okereke Linus: One of Nigeria’s A-list actress will be one year older on October 2nd. She has starred in over 90 movies, nominated for several awards and won many. Let’s celebrate with her and encourage her to keep up the good work in our fast growing industry. Also, let’s not forget her son Maxwell Linus was also born in October. Let’s extend our love to them both this October.
  • John Okafor: This actor has been putting smile on our faces and has made Nollywood colorful with his comic character since 1997. He was born on October 17th and stated during an interview that he was once a martial artist. Let’s celebrate the life of the comic artist. John Okafor is one of the favorite Nigerian celebrities, and has played some of the best comic roles Nigeria will ever remember, like in Mr. Ibu.
  • Nse Ikpe-Etim: The “Reloaded” actress will on October 21st add one year to her age.
  • Micheal Godson: Otherwise known as Ifeanyichukwu and having a striking resemblance to Mike Ezuruonye, has been on our screens since 2001 and has been seen in over 100 films. He is one of Nollywood’s eligible bachelors and we hope to see more of him. His birthday is on October 10.
  • Regina Daniels: This spectacular teenage actress is probably the most sought after in Nollywood. She was born on October 10. Continue dazzling Princess.
  • Hakeem Kae-Kazim: The Nigerian/British actor who featured in Hotel Rwanda some years ago and has also featured in a few homemade movies, is an October born. First day of October to be precise. He was also seen in Hollywood action series, 24.
  • Zainab Balogun: She is an actress, model, co-founder of J-ist TV as well as a TV presenter born on the 10th of October. She considers herself an aspirational and self-driven person. She continues to work hard to build up her career as an actress and TV presenter.
  • Osas Ighodaro Ajibade: She is the Miss Black USA pageant winner for 2010, and co-host of the 2014 African Magic Viewers Choice Award. She celebrates her birthday on 26th October.
