US Talent Agency UTA recently signed a deal with Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji. The deal is a representation deal which grants her more entrance into Hollywood. She will therefore be appearing more in Hollywood films and TV series. She will also be given more chances to work as a producer, as we have already seen in “Lionheart”. We know that this Nollywood actress have already been in a few movies by Hollywood directors, including Akinnuonye-Agbaje’s “Farming.”
Rumors have it that Genevieve Nnaji may also be collaborating with Hollywood filmmakers to produce movies based on African and Nigerian stories. UTA is one of the world’s leading talent agencies. They have a big portfolio of artists they represent in Hollywood, including Johnny Depp, Chris Brown and Angelina Jolie. They also cover other areas of entertainment, including books, theater, fine art, film financing, packaging, branding, licensing and endorsements. The deal therefore puts Genevieve Nnaji at a significant place and opens up doors for her to explore more areas in the entertainment industry at large.
