An Instagram user and an art illustrator that goes by the handle Leankid is doing something creative with Nollywood movie posters and titles. Leankid sets his art on a collection of celebrity photos which he uses to create a painting out of them.
Recently he began creating a series of illustrations with posters and titles of Nollywood movies which he calls Nollywood mash.
In the series, he blends the elements of two different Nollywood movie as one movie. This gives an entirely different title and meaning from what the original movies are called like the ones below.
In the photo is a mix of ‘Chief Daddy’ and ‘Living in Bondage‘. Leankid moves images around to form a single name like “Chief Daddy in Bondage”. He did the same with the posters of ‘Sugar Rush‘ and ‘Elevator Baby’ and got “Sugar Baby”.
Lean Kid states that he has collaborated with Chiemeka Osuagwu, a Nollywood screenwriter for the series.
