Resident Evil 1- 6 – How To Watch in Order Before the Netflix Series

Netflix is about to package the adventures of the Resident Evil film franchise into a series. The Netflix series is now in production in South Africa, the same location where the final part was shot. The upcoming Resident Evil Netflix series is an original and the season one is most likely ready in 2021.

The Netflix series is a brand new story and could be different from the film previous six parts. However, it will provide a basis for the Netflix series as it is retaining its apocalyptic and futuristic narrative. Events in the series will also take place in the Raccoon City, the origin of the T-virus. Resident Evil is the highest-grossing film based on a game.

Resident Evil, 2002 – The game by Capcom caught the attention of many nudging a film adaption of the game. Being the first of the film series, it doesn’t have a tag like the subsequent ones. The original T-virus outbreak also happens in this part.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse, 2004 – The Apocalypse opens with the virus spreading further and attempts to light up Raccoon city the origin of the virus.

Resident Evil: Extinction, 2007 – The is now ravaging the entire world in the Extinction since the Umbrella cooperation is unable to contain it.

Resident Evil: Afterlife, 2010 -This takes place after the Extinction which left only a few people living including Alice and her clone.

Resident Evil: Retribution (2012) – Alice continues to fight the Umbrella cooperation who were responsible for the T-virus, programming and cloning her.

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016) – Alice finds out things she didn’t know about herself at The Hive, the cooperation’s research facility. She eventually releases the airborne anti-virus which will cleanse everyone infected.

The company overseeing the production of Resident Evil, Constantin Film had said that a new Resident Evil movie is coming. They call it Reboot.
