Burna Boy is recently experiencing some international aggression which places him in crossfire with angry South Africans. However, following his new point of international glory that came with his most recent album ‘African Giant’, Burna Boy will feature in the new Stormzy album coming December 13. It is titled ‘Heavy is the Head’.
After chains of single songs the last years, Uk rapper Stormzy is dropping one new album of 16 songs. Three of his previous songs, ‘Vossi Bop,’ ‘Crown,’ and ‘Wiley Flo’ will also be contained in the album. The album will see Ed Sheeran and Burna Boy feature together in one of the tracks ‘Own It’.
Burna Boy shared details of the significance of the ‘African Giant’ album on the Dialy Show with Trevor Noah in August. Following the release of the album, he won the Artist of the Year Award at the last AFRIMMA Awards.
A few days ago, there had been some social media hostility between the artists a few South Africans regarding his enlistment as a performer at the Africa Unite Concert. This has led to the recent cancellation of the said concert. It was supposed to a peace movement for Africans after the 2019 xenophobia event. Burna Boy, Trevor Noah, and Angelique Kidjo were nominated in categories of the Grammy 2020.
