Super Story which has stretched to become an epic television series for Nigeria and Africa is now receiving sponsorship from top telecommunication company, Globacom.
Since its debut in 2001, Super Story coats its narrative to be both family-friendly and morally acceptable. Globacom noted in a statement that it is “proud to support” Super Story due to this.
The statement by Glo also says: “We are delighted to support Super Story to continue to excite some of our esteemed subscribers who watch the drama series”.
The sponsorship opened with a new collection “Revenge” which aired a week ago on African Independent Television (AIT) . New episodes of Super Story will air at the same time, 9 pm, and same station, AIT, Nigeria every week.
Toyin Alausa, Kehinde Bankole, Funsho Adeolu, Kunle Coker and Shan George appeared on the opening episode of Super Story “Revenge”. These actors are likely going to be on the cast for subsequent episodes of the series.
Being an anthology, the previous collection of Super Story have starred a number of actors who later left the series. It has also had a few special appearances. Super Story is a Wale Adenuga Production, (WAP) who is also the creator of series like This Life and Nnenna.
