As concerts are happening via video conferences so are meetings and interviews. Tiwa Savage spilt a secret about signing a new International Music Deal during a video conference with Billboard Magazine.
According to her, the discussion she is having is with the same people who contacted her some years ago. The deal didn’t work out then. There are so little details about the new music deal but Tiwa Savage did say that it has taken a different level. Mr Eazi and Davido were also present during the video conference.
Specific topics were discussed with the three include the opportunities in front of artists, the stereotype they face, the impact of social media on their music as well as identity and culture.
Savage has excelled as an independent artist making most of her initial albums through Mavin Records and 323 Entertainment. A few years ago, Tiwa Savage came to associate with Universal Music Group and Motown Records.
Aside from singing, she has also written songs for a number of international artists. She also backed up Cold Play on Èkó a track in their last album ‘Everyday Life’.
Savage’s fourth studio album, Celia, is due later in 2020.
