Oga John (Short Film)
It’s about time someone took mental illness awareness seriously in Nigeria. We are talking about all the different types of mental disorders, like schizophrenia, bipolarity and personality disorders. The producers of “Oga John”, however, chose OCD as the topic for their short film. They still manage to send a universal message regarding mental illness.
On our list of African movies to look forward to this year, this is the only one currently available. We still included it as it is a must-watch movie of 2019.
