The 2019 All Africa Music Awards AFRIMA, is happening this weekend at the Eko Hotels and Suites Victoria Island Lagos, Nigeria. While the full list of AFRIMA winners will be available November 23, several people are currently debating on omissions, inclusions, and first-timers.
Nasty C is ruling the award nominations with nine nods, including the Artist of the year in Africa category. He is also billed to perform at the award ceremony. We bet for many, he is a good fit for that category and should walk away with it.
But Burna Boy is currently one of the continent’s biggest and his current Grammy nomination buzzes on. He gained at least five nominations in AFRIMA’s prestigious categories. These biggest categories seem to be of the most interest to fans and have the fiercest artists vying there. We are left to ponder, who will win, who will break a record and who will lose on this fabulous night?
Tiwa Savage and a host of others will also be performing during the ceremony which will last four days. Which artist will rule the stage and who takes home the biggest awards of 2019 AFRIMA?
