Wizkid made a prompt music release with a new EP Soundman Vol 1. The singer has released a couple of tracks this year including ‘Joro’. However, one seemed to have been expecting the EP that came less than 24 hours ago.

The shortened album ‘Soundman’ has Wizkid singing of love, alcohol and party. It features a number of collaborations including Chronixx, DJ Tunez, Blaq Jerzee and Kel P.

The 7-track EP does not involve any kind of sound fusion or mix beats it is pure hip-hop of 24 minutes. 

Wizkid won several awards this year at the AFRIMA and AFRIMMA music awards of 2019 as well other notable awards across the world. He has earned some good spots with Billboard these past years with songs like ‘Fever’. One of his collaborated songs this year, ‘Brown Skin Girl’ with Beyonce and Blue Ivy Carter also peaked at number one in the first week of its release.  

According to Wizkid, a second EP will follow Soundman Vol 1 soon. It is also expected to come before his upcoming album ‘Made In Lagos’ (MIL).
