‘Castle and Castle’ Renewed For Season 2 Exclusive To Netflix

Nigerian legal series ‘Castle and Castle’ has been renewed for a second season and Netflix has the sole right to the upcoming season. The first season of Castle & Castle aired in 2018 on EbonyLife ON. All of season 1 of ‘Castle and Castle’ was later moved to Netflix.

Each episode is over an hour long and gives so little dialogue to keep up our interest. With a bigger budget for the second season, hopefully, they will consult an actual lawyer to fill up plot holes.

Having waited two years for a new season, Professor Tega Castle returns to hold the fort of his law firm. There is so much that we want season 2 of ‘Castle & Castle’ to clarify ranging from characters to plotline and legal issues.

Remi Castle who is returning with her title as a senior advocate of Nigeria should at least give viewers something to appreciate the character. As legal drama, Remi and Tega should have more than their office passion to give. Maybe take us back to how Remi earned her title.

Remi has to also stop planting confusion and try to reference the law firm better. Also, why wouldn’t Duke just be something else other than and an antagonizing father-in-law? Seeing a little less of Duke at the law firm wouldn’t be bad for the new season actually.

Season 2 of ‘Castle & Castle’ will be on Netflix in 2021 and we will update when we know more.
