The reality of film streaming and binge-watching series seem to also be attractive to top Nollywood production companies like EbonyLife. The company who had served its products through MultiChoice’s DSTV is leaving the cable network on July 31.
It will now provide some of its content to people who subscribe to EbonyLife ON app. Subscribers will have unlimited access to EbonyLife series without having to wait one week to watch them on DSTV.

EbonyLife ON is available on Google Play Store or App Store and its viewing schedule will allow users to watch whatever series they want to on EbonyLife.
Subscribers in Nigeria will be charged a monthly fee of N500 and those abroad will be charged $2.99 a month. This amount can provide full access to EbonlyLife library of over 5,000 hours of programming which includes lifestyle and other entertainment shows. The shows are available to watch anytime and anywhere.
EbonyLife films are still available on Netflix. However, the company is hoping to bring series like ‘Castle & Castle’ and ‘Sons of the Caliphate’ closer with the EbonyLife ON app.
EbonyLife Studios is partnering with Netflix on a number of new film productions and adaptions too. Netflix is piloting Nigeria and Africa as it unfolds more film projects with production companies like EbonyLife Studios.
