Nnaji has apparently had some bad days with men especially men like her baby father who avoided the responsibilities of her and her daughter whom she had as a teenager. Such things can take a toll on the mind and leave a person in “constant fear”.

Apparently, Genevieve Nnaji was also plagued and stigmatized for being pregnant as a teenager. She could have suffered trauma and psychological effects being pregnant and abandoned. But as a top actress and until now, nobody has ever stopped to think about what her fears are.
Genevieve Nnaji, like every other person, has fears. Whatever she is today and whatever she decides to be tomorrow are greatly influenced by these fears and her past. This is why we believe she means it when she says “live in constant fear of men”.
That is probably a wall that she built as a pregnant teenage girl who had some bumpy years and dropped out of school as a teenager. So her fear of men is already too deep.
