Exciting New Titles Added to Netflix Naija at the End of October 2023

With several good titles – movies and TV shows – on Netflix Naija, everyone has had a great time this October. However, no one wants to miss the new selection that has just been added recently.

Ijobgon

Coming from a rural southern Nigerian village and lowly family background, four teen friends come to possess a pouch of uncut diamonds. They can either die trying to keep it or release it to the bounty hunters.

Oby and her friends have had the most harrowing experience since finding the diamond. One of their friend lies in the hospital and they have to decide what happens next.

  • Pain Hustlers – Liza Drake (Emily Blunt) is a struggling mum who has just lost her job. A while later she runs into Pete Brenner at a pharmaceutical start-up, her new workplace, who helps her level up financially. However, that goes sour quickly as she becomes caught in a dangerous racketeering scheme.
  • Yellow Door – A Korean documentary film taken from the era of true film lovers.

  • Get Gotti – As the most powerful man in New York, Gotti drew the attention of several powerful government bodies. The surveillance put on the criminal boss by law enforcement and state prosecutors paid off in the mid-80s when they brought him down and they now are sharing this story in this Netflix documentary.
  • Life on Our Planet – The documentary sheds light on a naturalistic world, where there is always a battle for survival between species and how only the strong has made this this far on our planet Earth. There is a huge fraction of the species on earth unknown and another fraction lost to our deep past as the documentary will reveal.
  • Absolute Beginners – To get into film school, two teen friends take a bold step and make a film about love.
  • Pluto – A manga story is based on Osamu Tezuka’s Astro Boy ‘The Greatest Robot on Earth’ arc from 1964.
  • Tore – In trying to suppress his pain and live a normal life, a 27-year-old boy Tore builds a new life for himself after a terrible loss. His friends become uncomfortable with his new life.
