Legendary singer Kenny Rogers has been confirmed dead by his family early Saturday, March 21. The country singer and songwriter passed away aged 81.
Rogers was native of Houston and throughout out his 60 years music career, he hit the top of many music charts. He won three Grammys and has a disc on the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Rogers had No. 1 hits with 24 of his tracks including “The Gambler,” and “Lucille”. Kenny Rogers also had a good run as a television star during his life.
The songs by Kenny Rogers shaped the minds of many in the 70 and 80s into loving country music. His hoarse tone always makes music sound fraternal and that will last a lifetime even though he is now gone.
