Mark Angel Biggest Youtuber in Africa

Mark Angel is the Biggest Youtuber in Africa – Record Set Straight

Africans at home like to celebrate successful ones grown abroad. But sometimes they strip the homegrown successful Africans of their accolades. In an article it opens with “Setting The Record Straight“, WeeTracker said Mark Angel is technically the biggest Youtuber in Africa.

The article further noted that it is odd that he “doesn’t have as much clout back home as he has loyal fans abroad”.

We believe that what WeeTracker is trying to say is that homegrown Africans work twice as hard to be seen. Hence, this kind of accolade shouldn’t go to Africans grown abroad.

The result of a Google search on these words “Top YouTubers in Africa” will probably tell you that Caspar Lee, is No.1 Youtuber in Africa.

However, WeeTracker article disputes that as Casper Lee is a British-South African YouTube personality. He may have spent his early childhood in South Africa, but Caspar has lived more in the United Kingdom.

He also grew his 7.11 million subscribers Youtube channel living in the UK. “So, technically, the biggest homegrown YouTuber in Africa is not Caspar”, it says. Mark Angel is.
