Nigerian actor, Mike Godson, is on board the Nollywood/Bollywood train as he signs an acting deal with Indian filmmakers. He made this known to his fans on social media recently. He further went on to express his excitement in these words:
I’m super excited because we are going to be telling those Indian love stories the African way. All the Zee world lovers, stay tuned.
He is going to be the second Nigerian to have featured in an Indian movie. First Nigerian actor to be featured in an Indian movie was Samuel Robinson. He appeared in “Sudani from Nigeria”, which was released in March this year. Although there is a small difference, as Mike Godson will feature in a Bollywood movie (based in Bombay), while Samuel Robinson featured in a Mollywood movie (based in the southern state Kerala).
We believe that the movie will follow the Indian style of filmmaking which are usually based on love stories. However, with Mike Godson on the cast list, it will certainly have an African twist. He also stated that he will be working with a host of other African actors to tell African love stories.
