Nollywood entire theatrical timetable is being re-examined and release dates for movies are delayed because of the coronavirus interruption.
The coronavirus spread control methods includes lockdown and stay home at orders by the government. All organisation including film theatres is operating with these orders.
More so, film activities and productions in Nigeria have been altered by orders received from the AGN president Emeka Rollas.

The release date for ‘Our Jesus Story‘ is pushed back from 27 March. It wouldn’t be the easter treat that everyone was looking forward to.
Coronavirus also impedes the release of these movies in Nollywood: ‘Mama Drama’, ‘Namaste Wahala‘, ‘Believe in You’, and ‘Soft Work’. All movies delayed by coronavirus now have unspecified release dates.
The COVID-19, a disease caused by coronavirus spread very quickly around the world. This led to mandatory isolation around the world as medical institutions try to find a vaccine and cure soon.
Nollywood is now facing the harsh reality that it might be a while before the world returns to normal. The way films will be released in Nollywood from henceforth might change.
Probably they will be released online and on streaming services which are the most functional services during the pandemic.
