‘Citation’ is on Netflix US November 6
‘Citation’ is the latest movie by Nollywood actor and producer Kunle Afolayan. It targets women who are afraid or embarrassed to speak up against sexual harassment.
An initial private screening of ‘Citation’ took place in August at the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU). A few days to its Netflix release on November 6, it screened one more time at Terra Kulture, Victoria Island, Lagos.
‘Citation’ explores a subject that is intricate to women and it illustrates issues of moral decadence at university campuses.

Billionaire daughter, Temi Otedola made her acting debut in ‘Citation’ and being her first appearance in Nollywood movie, she was rather delightful than expected.
Her character is a postgraduate student who objects to her abusive lecturer.
As she admitted at the screening “Citation is a lot more than entertainment, it is a message to the world”. Hopefully, the theme of the movie will be grasped the same way that the creators and actors expect.
Citation is a college drama shot in Nigeria, Senegal, and Cape Verde and lays emphasis on speaking up against sexual harassment.
At the screening, Kunle Afolayan said that he appreciates the efforts of everyone and all partners of the ‘Citation’ project.

Both Temi and Gabriel Afolayan – a duo in ‘Citation’ received accolades for their character performances during the screening.
The chairman of Access bank, Ajoritsedere Awosika is one of the partners of the ‘Citation’ project and was also at the screening. The movie was produced by Golden Effects Services & KAP Motion Pictures.
