The 72nd edition of the Cannes Film Festival in France will be running from May 14 to May 25. For 2019, the event will see African filmmakers marketing and distributing their products. Nollywood filmmakers are to make efforts to benefit from this opportunity.
Pavillon Afriques is overseeing the entire process for the African filmmakers. This is a platform that offers guidance into the African and diaspora resources as wells as its professionals. Adedayo Thomas, Executive Director of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), is part of the Advisory Board.

Business leaders, producers, and filmmakers from across the Americas, Caribbeans, and Africa will be sharing their insights. So, Nollywood filmmakers and distributors are to take advantage of this.
At an event like this, meeting other filmmakers and interacting is the preamble. However, it is more important to expand their professional reach and find people to partner with.
