COVID-19, the virus that caused the coronavirus pandemic is keeping almost everyone at home these days. This has not been easy for anyone and many people will like for it to end soon and for everything to get back to normal.
Getting a vaccine or a drug to treat COVID-19 is so far a challenge for medical scientists. COVID-19 front liners all over the world, health workers have asked for people to stay at home for their sake.
In order to support their cause, Nollywood filmmaker Newton Barabara has partnered with UNICEF and National Orientation Agency (NOA) to create a COVID-19 video campaign.
The video is about two minutes short with Newton Barabara as Gaga and Gregory Idiakosa as Ekene in a discussion about the spread of COVID-19.
It was directed and produced by Newton Barabara, the CEO of Newton Barabara Studios and made in pidgin English.
Two more episodes of the COVID-19 campaign will be out soon according to Newton Barabara. Also, all three will have Igbo versions and we will share as we receive them.
