Some actors have a natural appeal – their presence act as a supernatural force on the audience. Just by appearing on the posters of Nigerian movies, they have the power to attract people to the cinemas, even if the movie is bad. So, they are just the charm!
Banky Wellington
When Banky shifted from music into Nigerian movies, we knew he has the attributes needed to be successful in Nollywood. And then we saw his debut Nollywood movie ‘The Return of Jenifa’. His performance was impeccable! Subsequently, he appeared in ‘The Wedding Party‘. Since it’s release 3 years ago, no Nollywood movies have surpassed its record. It has remained the highest grossing ever since.
We do not have any information about any of his upcoming movies. But we believe it will drive the crowd as much as ‘Up North’ and ‘The Wedding Party’.

If you pay attention, you will know that Eze’s new Nollywood movie ‘Hire a Woman’ has been buzzing since its release on March 29. Just like it’s initial relative ‘Hire a Man’, her movies are never neglected at the cinemas.
These two Nigerian movies by Eze have become box office hits, and ‘Hire a Woman’ is just a few days old in the cinemas. She is gradually becoming Nollywood’s most respected producer.

Alexx Ekubo
Some actors will always surpass their rivals and possess an intimidating presence in Nollywood. Their acting is top notch, so their movies will always be a hit in the cinemas. Alexx Ekubo played a number of roles in the early 2000s, but it was not until 2010 he really had his breakthrough.
He has ever since left a mark on both producers and the audience and is headed upward as one of Nollywood’s biggest stars. ‘Power of 1’ is the most recent box office hit movie that he appeared in.
Ay Makun
The popular comedian became a superior Nollywood presence when he began making Nigerian movies. Every movie by Ay always turns out to be a blast in the cinemas.
First, it was ’10 Days in Sun City’, ‘A Trip to Jamaica’, and ’30 Days in Atlanta’. His most recent Nollywood movie is Merry Men. There is no doubt that he is not only a talented comedian but also an admirable actor.
