The 2020 World Economic Forum (WEF) which is currently on in Davos, Switzerland is uniting top business fellows and personalities from around the world. Delegates and leaders from all over which include former Minister of Finance in Nigeria, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and Priyanka Chopra were also in sight.
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has been working with the Gavi organisation that helps immunise children. The organisation which celebrated its 20 years at the World Economic Forum is one of its major platform initiatives.
So, far, they have made a lot of progress in Nigeria and vaccinated over 760 million children around the world.
The former minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala ran into one-time Miss World, Priyanka Chopra and the two apparently had a great time talking as their tweets suggest. Priyanka in her tweet is encouraging followers to support the work that the Gavi organisation is doing.
So inspiring to meet with you @NOIweala! The work that you and @gavi do to protect children around the world is truly incredible. Please support Gavi and the amazing work they do by signing the @GlblCtzn petition here https://t.co/RnSjonlTcd https://t.co/My78VQiEDK
