The Lost Okoroshi, the second film by Abba Makama which crushes petty standards in Nollywood narratives is now on Netflix. Seeing figure or running from them in a dream is literally an overused narrative which he successfully cloaks in colours.

The daily life of Raymond (Seun Ajayi) is a toil as a security guard and his night sleep is agony as he tries to get away from a traditional Okoroshi figure in his dream. Raymond irately transforms into the same figure which he is running from and barges out onto the streets of Lagos.

‘The Lost Okoroshi’ successfully slips cognisance into its theme to satisfy a portion of the curiosity in African ancestral narratives. Makama makes yet another influential approach with ‘The Lost Okorshi’ adding substances that other fellows lack.

‘The Lost Okoroshi’ is on Netflix from September 4.
