After over 15 weeks of hard work as a team, Jake Hoot and Kelly Clarkson both emerged with a prize at the finale of The Voice 2019. With a third win on the show, coach Kelly Clarkson feels on top of the world. Clarkson was the only judge who yielded to Hoot during the Blind Audition. It must have been a great honour for her to produce yet another winner after The Voice 2019 finale.
The coach punched the button for Hoot’s during his performance of Luke Combs’ “When It Rains It Pours” which she said made him sound like Ronnie Dunn. But she also appeared to have much interest in coaching a country singer.
Blake Shelton had his hand on the button but never went through with it because he imagined Clarkson would use her block on him. Clarkson was quick to say to Hoot “this is a better home, I promise”.
Hoot apparently had more lovers on the floor since the opening week when he shared details of relationship with his daughter. He connected with the audience, however, not everyone seems to be happy when he has announced the winner at the finale of 2019 The Voice.
With over a dozen guest performances at the finale night, you could hardly tell the show was different from a concert. For the first time in seven seasons, each coach was represented in the finale. The set of contestants that made it to the finale proved to be one of the most talented. At the end of the night, there was only one winner, Jake Hoot.
