MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs), 2021 – Who will win and who will loss.
MTV Africa will be decorating top artists on the continent with trophies in the seventh edition of its music awards MAMAs, coming up in Kampala, Uganda on February 20, 2021.
The organisers of the award night have released a list of nominees which contains the names of over 50 artists in Africa vying in 19 categories in MAMAs 2021.

Among the 19 categories, two – “Alone Together: Best Lockdown Performance”, and the “Best Ugandan Act” – are newly introduced.
The later will title yearly as it is meant to honour the host country’s emerging artists. The last MAMAs took place in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2016.
One of the highly congested and competitive categories in MAMAs 2021 is the “Listeners’ Choice”.
Twenty artists emerged finalist for the ‘Listeners’ Choice’ category of the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMAs), 2021.
Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage is one of the 2021 finalists of the “Listeners’ Choice” category.
