Looks like we are going to be seeing some of Angélique Kidjo after her ultimate win at the 2020 Grammys. The singer who won Best World Album features in new video ‘Shekere’ by Yemi Alade.
In place of the epic music ‘Wombolombo’, by Angélique Kidjo, Yemi Alade offered a piece of modern artistry. She mixed it up with a new song ‘Shekere’.

The ‘Shekere’ video uses epic scenery and appears to be deeply African. It seems to have drawn its opening tune, vocal and entire performance and costume from the South African ‘Zulu’ culture. It’s just beautiful.
‘Shekere’ video does have a little bit of Beyonce’s ‘Spirit’ signature, and that is hard to imagine after Yemi Alade participated in ‘The Gift’.
