Amongst the earliest winners named tonight was Beninese singer, Angelique Kidjo. The singer was nominated alongside Burna Boy in the Grammy category of the Best World Music Album and she emerged the winner.
With the 2020 Grammy win, Angelique Kidjo is now a 10-time Grammy nominee and four-time winner. Most of her previous Grammy wins is in the same category, Best World Music Album.
