It is nice to identify with Nigerians artists who were made in America and to celebrate their wins too. However, it is not fair to place them on the same spot as the Nigerians who worked their way up and got nominated for the Grammy from home.
We have made a list in honour of Nigerians have at least one who are Grammy nomination. The artists are in two divisions and do not include the likes of Seal and Sade Adu.

Burna Boy – 2019
Sikiru Adepoju is an exception in this category. Under his belt is a 2019 nomination in the Best Contemporary World Music Album. That year, He became the only homegrown Nigerian artist to win the Grammy.
Aside from him, there are not many Nigerian artists who are Grammy award winners except for Nigerian-Americans.
