Much time has been lost in Nollywood waiting for the COIVD-19 pandemic to pass -movie productions including that of Kunle Afolayan’s ‘Citation’ were fractured and new releases were paused. However, the cinema reopens soon and plans to release new Nollywood films are on track. KAP has announced the early release of ‘Citation’ with a first look.
About Nollywood Movie Citation
‘Citation’ is a production of Golden Effects Pictures & KAP Motion Pictures. The team of filmmakers working on ‘Citation’ had earlier said that violence against women is the backdrop of the movie. Kunle Afolayan and his team used locations around Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde during production. The project is supported by several partners.
The creators of ‘Citation’ are aiming to inform women of their rights and illustrate how to live above abuse and violation in a society where the issue is more or less cancer… Read more about Citation here. ‘Citation’ will feature a host of delightful actors from Nigeria as well as from other nationalities.

Kunle Afolyan shared the poster of Citation on his Instagram page along with the news of the soundtrack. According to him, the soundtracks of ‘Citation’ will be available on KAP Music which is soon to be unveiled. There is also a teaser.
