The production of ‘Stranger Things’ 4 shut down at the beginning of 2020. Having assembled all the scripts it needs for the production for the fourth season by mid-June 2020, Netflix rescheduled production for December.
With this in mind, ‘Stranger Things 4’ is predicted to be out earliest in 2021. In our understanding and as several tweets and videos reveal, the fourth season will comprise eight episodes like the first and third seasons.

Netflix had tweeted about signing multi-year deals with the Duffer Brothers topping the deal it already has with Shawn Levy, producer ‘Stranger Things’.
However, even the brothers told E!News that they don’t know if the show would have a fifth season.
