The theatre in Nigeria is set to reopen with the widely expected “Tenet”, a Warner Bros. film which so far has a gross of over $152 million worldwide million after the first weeks of ticket sales. “Tenet” is now the sixth highest-grossing film of 2020 having cost roughly $200 million to make. “Tenet” is opening first in the cinema in Nigeria but there is scepticism that it is a good time as a low turnout is plausible.
More so, what will “Tenet” gross in Nigeria? This was the case in the United States where it grossed $20 million in the first weekend. In China, Tenet grossed $30 million.
“Tenet” has gained solid reviews – positively for the visual brilliance which Christopher Nolan created and negatively for the complicated plot. Rotten Tomatoes rating for “Tenet” is up to 75 per cent.
