The entire atmosphere at the 2020 BRIT Awards in O2 Arena London will be exhilarating for winners. They will each be leaving with a classic trophy, the elegant Lady Britannia BRIT statuette.
The best music and artists from home and around the world get the BRIT trophy yearly. It stands as a symbol of distinction for artists.
The design for trophies given away each year since 1977 is a true representation of beauty. For each since 2011, a different designer recreates the trophy. Each trophy comes out as a genuine notion of beauty as seen from the designer’s eyes.
This year, winners will get a classic Lady Britannia BRIT trophy. While the trophy looks just like 2019 edition, both aren’t the same. They share a similar look and this reminds of the 2019 trophy designer, Sir David Adjaye OBE.
The world-leading Ghanaian architect Sir David Adjaye OBE forged the trophy using hard glass. His design did beat expectations. It was ingenious and an exhibition of appropriate skill application. This appears to have raised standards for upcoming designers.
A first look at the 2020 trophy which winners will receive tonight was shared earlier on the Brit Awards website. Looking forward to Burna Boy winning a 2020 BRIT Awards trophy in the International Male Solo Artist category.
