Calculate leap day age

Leap day birthdays – how do leaplings calculate age

People who have birthdays once every four years otherwise called ‘leaplings’ are a wonder to the rest of humanity. Whether they choose to add a new age on February 28 of every year calendar, or March 1 as the UK law states, they are just the same as everyone else. How the people see or calculate leap day age has to depend on the individuals.

A leapling might want a birthday present on February 28 every year, but most don’t get theirs. Friends and family of leaplings sometimes have a hard fixing these birthdays into the yearly calendar. As a result, leaplings could get birthday presents every fourth year, and to some it is annoying.

But being a friend or family to a leapling has to give some kind of special feeling too. Leap day birthdays around the world are so few, which is why it is undoubtedly a big celebration day for most people.
